QC Photos: What to Check Before Shipping

QC photos are decision-making evidence, not a guarantee. A consistent review checklist helps buyers find visible problems before paying for international delivery.

Warehouse quality-check photos are taken after an item reaches the agent warehouse and before it is included in an international parcel. Their main value is timing: if a visible problem is found while the item is still in China, a return or exchange may be easier than after export.

A practical six-point review

Product identity

Compare the received item with the ordered style, model, colour and quantity.

Size information

Look for size labels and requested measurements. A label does not confirm actual fit.

Visible condition

Inspect for stains, scratches, broken hardware, uneven construction or shipping damage.

Key details

Zoom into prints, stitching, closures, soles, edges and other areas important to the item.

Accessories

Confirm that detachable parts, cables, straps, manuals or other expected pieces are present.

Packaging

Check whether the packaging is suitable for the product and whether extra protection may be useful.

What a standard photo cannot prove

Photos normally cannot confirm authenticity, material composition, internal construction, electronics performance, long-term durability or exact colour under every light. Sealed products may receive only an exterior check. If a specific detail will determine whether you keep the item, request the available close-up, measurement or personalised-photo service before parcel submission.

What to do when something looks wrong

Compare the issue with the seller listing and order notes, then contact support through the agent account promptly. Seller return windows can be short. Keep screenshots and identify the exact photo or detail in question rather than relying on a general description.

Browse the site's customer QC reference and read the full buying process before submitting a parcel.

Frequently asked questions

Do QC photos guarantee authenticity?

No. Standard warehouse photos can show visible characteristics but do not authenticate branded goods.

Can QC photos confirm clothing fit?

They can show labels and requested measurements, but actual fit depends on the garment, measurement method and wearer.

When should a buyer review QC photos?

Review them as soon as the warehouse makes them available and before submitting the item for international shipping.
