SUGARGOO separates optional services into item-level work performed while products are stored and parcel-level work performed when an international shipment is packed. Availability, price and processing time are shown in the live platform and can change.
Order-level add-on services
- Personalised photographs: request a close-up of a specific detail not covered by standard QC images.
- Measurements: ask for an available length, width or other visible dimension before shipping.
- Mannequin or presentation photos: display suitable clothing on a form to show general shape.
- Storage extension: add time to an eligible stored order before the free period expires.
- Special item protection: use an available brace, support or reinforcement for shoes, hats or fragile products.
Parcel-level add-on services
- Remove unnecessary original packaging to reduce space
- Add bubble, corner or outer-box reinforcement
- Use moisture-resistant or waterproof protection
- Vacuum-pack suitable textiles to reduce volume
- Add stretch film or strapping where offered
- Use rehearsal or pre-packing to obtain better parcel measurements
- Select insurance when available for the route and product class
Protection versus chargeable weight
More material can increase actual weight and parcel dimensions. Removing a box can reduce volume but may lower protection, resale condition or collector value. Vacuum packing can help soft goods but is unsuitable for items that can crease, deform or trap moisture.
Return and handling consequences
Some irreversible services—such as removing sealed or retail packaging—can affect seller-return eligibility. Review QC first, resolve any seller dispute and then select modifications. Add a clear remark when the service depends on a specific item or area.
